Q

Can I go on holiday during term time?

A

The College will not authorise absences for holidays or leisure purposes during term time.

Only in the most exceptional circumstances can absence in term time be authorised, for example, to compete in external competitions; to attend a wedding/funeral/graduation of a family member.  In these cases, your parent/guardian will need to write to the Principal using the online ‘Exceptional Absence Request Form’ www.altoncollege.ac.uk/parents/support-guidance/absence-and-holidays
